Cape Chapter had an amazing meeting on the 23rd May. We had some guests from other chapters as well as one person who is a professional speaker from China.
Our guest speaker was Carl Schultz. As a professional speaker and a past president of the PSASA he knows the speaking industry extremely well.
He shared three key pillars with us about how to build a speaking business, namely the craft of speaking; the business of speaking and the why of speaking. He broke each of these down for us. He then took things to another level when he shared his 6 Step Blue Print for a successful speaking business with us. He was extremely giving and accommodating, answering all our questions.
To those that didn’t attend, you most definitely missed out.
Our next meeting is on the 20th June, our guest speaker is Jeff Kahn (see the invitation for more details). We are planning on making this one the first In Person meeting since 2020BC. Busy on the venue hunt as we speak!
