Monique Blokzyl and Eksteen de Waal were our guest speakers for our October event. And what an event it was.
With Njideka as our MC for the evening, it was an exciting time all around.
Monique shared some interesting points on how to up your level as a speaker, to become more visible, and to make an exceptional impact on your audience and your income.
She shared numerous tips and tools that we as thought leaders need to apply to increase our visibility. He Visibility Booster Roadmap was filled with many ideas and thought-provoking questions to ensure we reach our potential.
Eksteen provided us with some very interesting, need-to-know advice/ideas on what technology is best to enhance your stage performance and your online setup. He shared on:
• Camera and lighting – what to use and what to avoid, correct positioning of yourself on screen.
• Software – he suggested the Davinci Resolve to create and edit your videos.
• Sound – position of your microphone, limiting sound reflection and what is available without spending too much money
• Studio setup – the right clothing to wear, backdrop, props, etc.
All in all, we walked away inspired and ready for our next training or speaking engagement with a lot more know-how and confidence.
