Speaker Factor – An International Affair

The monthly Virtual Chapter meeting was once again an international affair with people joining in from as far as Germany and India.

Chris Voysey opened the show with his story of rediscovering a fascination with the world of performance in inventing the concept of GYM for the VOICE. During the breakout sessions we unpacked what each one of us use our voices for, leading to a lovely mix of professional and personal stories. Arriving back in the main Zoom room to a lively welcoming chatter.

As the highlight of the evening, the annual Speaker Factor chapter competition certainly did not disappoint, with the standard of speaking incredibly high, making it an extremely difficult job for the judges.

Fascinating topics with inspiring backstories ranged across dancing with uncertainty, the day the music died, making difficult decisions, apple seeds and how to use humour seriously.

Congratulations to all who participated and all of the best to Michael Lee and Melanie Rothman in the semi finals on the 27th of March!
