Three Speaker Classes
PSASA offers three speaker classes to help members to make progress in their careers. Attendance of multiple groups will not guarantee success, only application of what is learned and shared.
Only members of PSASA are able to join these classes and can move to the next class after a period of time to deepen their understanding of the speaker journey.

Launch Speaker Class
New associate members of PSASA have the opportunity to join this class and work through the fundamentals of what is needed to start their speaking journey.
Lift Off Speaker Class
This class is for PSASA members who are seeking to move their speaking business forward. Ideally a person in this class has been a member of PSASA for at least a year, or who has been in the speaking business for at least three years.

Classes are held online on the second Wednesday of each month at 18h00 SAST.
Luminary Speaker Class
The PSASA Luminary Speaker Class is an aspirational group for experienced, successful, professional speakers. It is not an automatic next step once a PSASA member completes the Lift Off Speaker Class.
Prospective members will be invited to join based on meeting the criteria below, including a peer review process:
- Minimum of 10 years earning the majority of income from speaking, presenting, training and/or facilitation.
- Must have been a professional member of the PSASA for a minimum of 2 years.
- Members of the Luminary Speaker Class must be actively involved in the PSASA – attend chapter meetings and conventions, and give back to the speaking community in some way.
- Must be an experienced speaker who can share best practice with speaking peers.
- Must be peer reviewed by at least 3 members of this class who have their CSPs or are PSASA award winners.
- Once a year, after each annual PSASA convention, PSASA members who meet these criteria will be invited to join the Luminary Speaker Class, and those members of the class who are not actively participating and contributing will be removed.
