Pretoria Chapter Meeting 2025 Kick Off
Written by Kakanyo Pilane
With 21 attendees in the room, the evening unfolded as one might expect – filled with insight, connection and inspiration.
What is an evening without the vibrant energy of a skilled MC? Pule Kotu brought warmth, joy and a welcoming spirit to the evening, making everyone feel right at home.
As student member Tumisang Khoza aptly put it, “It is one thing to watch from the sidelines, but it’s something else entirely to step into the arena”. And indeed, that spirit of participation defined the night.
We were honored to hear from three outstanding speakers: Ian Bratt, Mahlodi Kgatle and Tim Wagner. Their messages resonated deeply with the audience.
“Mahlodi Khatle’s speech was deeply encouraging. It reminded me that mistakes don’t break us- they make us ” shared Lelethu Ekunnimo, a first time attendee who left not only inspired but also eager to become a member of the PSASA.
The evening also marked a special moment as our newly appointed President, Kakanyo Pilane delivered her opening address. Her message was both uplifting and empowering, reminding us of the Power of networking, the value of meaningful relationships and the importance of growing together as a community.
If you are in the Pretoria area, the Pretoria Chapter welcomes you. Come and experience the power of Professional Speaking for yourself.
