PAN African Speakers Summit 23

This last weekend saw ripples of excitement flowing across the continent fuelled by the sharing of wisdom and tips from some of our great speaking giants from Africa.

The second Pan African Speakers Summit hosted by Voices into Africa attracted 18 speakers from 9 countries who contributed to the programme run over 2 days with the collaboration of the Speakers Associations of Southern Africa, Cameroon, Zambia, Namibia and the VSAI.

The programme kicked off on Friday evening with a 90-minute workshop outlining the Speakers Checklist for budding professionals wanting to develop their speaking business.

Saturday was ushered in by Njideka Orji filled with her energy and musical vibe as she introduced our keynote speakers: Graeme Codrington, Tiffany Markman, Joyce Daniels, Arthur Goldstuck and Siphiwe Moyo. These were interspersed with shorter talks on a wide range of topics and speakers.

We wish to thank all those who gave their time and expertise that contributed to this huge success. The overall opinion from participants was enthusiastic and encouraging to see so much talent freely shared with those who are growing their speaking businesses in Africa.

The Summit will be followed by the launch of the Centre Stage Speakers Academy and their premier event the Speakers Boot Camp scheduled for late September. This boot camp will deep dive into the framework and principles of speaker business development and link back to topics covered in the summit.

The Centre Stage Speakers Academy will also be hosting regular monthly master classes for developing speakers across the continent. More details are available at www.voicesintoafrica.com.

We all look forward to next years Pan African Speaker Summit, where we will once again raise the bar and the voices across Africa.
