Speakers Confirmed for PSASA Midterm Convention 2024: Laughs to Riches
Cape Town – 1 October 2024
The Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa (PSASA) has confirmed the first speakers for its Midterm Convention 2024 with the theme ‘Laughs to Riches’.
Humour is one of the distinguishing characteristics of the best-paid speakers, as their earnings consistently confirm. However, it is also one of the greatest challenges, especially for speakers who tackle serious topics. With the ‘Laughs to Riches’ Midterm Convention, the PSASA aims to support speakers to master this lucrative skill.
Confirmed speakers for the event currently include:
• South African comedy legend Barry Hilton
• Award-winning BBC broadcaster Jeremy Nicholas
• Marketing expert Chantal Cornelius
• Business mastery specialist William Buist
• International leadership expert Eksteen De Waal
• Media expert and thought leader Alan Stevens
• Magician and Mentalist Wolfgang Riebe
• Life Purpose and Personal Transformation guru Eugene Seah
• Rising standup comedy star Sami Hall
• Laughter for resilience speaker Diana Rodrigues
The PSASA Cape Chapter is proud to host this year’s Midterm Convention. The organising committee consists of Claudio Chiste (Convenor), Terry Winship (Deputy Convenor), supported by Eksteen de Waal and Marriet Visser (PSASA Cape Chapter President).
Convenor Claudio Chiste says of the event “I’ve learned that humour is a powerful tool in public speaking. What better way to master it than by organising a convention with the world’s best? The next best thing… buy a ticket and attend!”
The PSASA Midterm Convention 2024 will take place online on Saturday, 26 October from 11h00-17h30 SAST.
This high-value event is open to professional and aspiring speakers anywhere who are interested in raising their income by raising audience moods through laughter. To learn more and register, visit:
