A jam-packed agenda, filled with inspiration and new energy.

CAPE TOWN SHOWED UP FOR SPEAKER FACTOR!

Cape Town was the first PSASA chapter to hold the chapter rounds for PSASA’s premier speaking competition. Five contestants braved centre stage to show up as their best selves. Speaker Factor convener for 2026 and winner of Speaker Factor 2025, Viv Vermaak, facilitated this part of the programme.

Andrew Wolhuter set the night ablaze with his powerful speech about ’90 Second Leadership.” What a startling talent. Watch this space!

Elmi Muller, a transplant surgeon held us captive with insights on how the dying can teach the living about life and leadership.

Chris Fry, ever the raconteur, spoke about being a corporate pioneer and how to guide companies towards Purpose, Principle, and Profit.

Alex Pryor, entertained us with her sharp wit and expert knowledge, giving us guidance on Practical AI for Introverts.

And Patricia Grace inspired and humbled us with her experience in how to help single mothers thrive when given the correct life coaching and support.

The three people representing Cape Town at the semi=finals on 9 June are (in no particular order):
Elmi Muller
Alex Pryor
Chris Fry
Well done, and good luck!

AGM
Cape Town had a great year, hosting international and local speakers, combining in-person gatherings and online presentations. Marlene McConnel was thanked for her service and handed over to Alex Pryor, who will be the President for Cape Chapter (PSASA) for 2026! Cape Town is looking forward to a good year and preparation for hosting the 2027 Convention has already begun!
