A Resounding Success: The Relaunch of PSASA KZN Chapter!
The Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa (PSASA) KZN Chapter marked a triumphant relaunch with an event that left attendees inspired and eager for more. Held on 6th June, the gathering saw an impressive turnout of 24 participants, including 19 first-time guests and 5 existing members, reflecting an igniting of interest in the art and business of professional speaking in the region.
Building a Powerful Speaker Brand with Zanele Njapha
The highlight of the evening was an electrifying talk by the renowned global speaker and entrepreneur, Zanele Njapha. With her helpful insights, heartfelt journey and dynamic delivery, Zanele captivated the audience with her topic, “Building A Powerful Speaker Brand.” She emphasized the importance of authenticity, consistency, and leveraging unique personal stories to create a brand that resonates deeply with audiences. Her session was not only motivational but also packed with actionable strategies that attendees could immediately implement to enhance their speaking careers.
Visionary Leadership with Brenden Cavanagh
The event also featured Brenden Cavanagh, the newly appointed KZN Chapter President. Brenden shared an engaging overview of the PSASA’s mission and activities, underscoring the benefits of membership which include access to a network of like-minded professionals, continuous learning opportunities, and platforms for showcasing one’s speaking skills. He passionately encouraged the guests to join the PSASA, highlighting how the warm community and how the association supports the growth and development of professional speakers across Southern Africa.
Looking Ahead: Next Chapter Meeting
The excitement from the relaunch event is set to continue with the next KZN Chapter meeting scheduled for 11th July. This meeting promises to be another inspiring session as it will feature Arthur Goldstuck, the President of PSASA, who will share his wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry, as well as his expert insight into the world of AI. And the second speaker will be award-winning Voice Over artist, MC, podcaster and Radio Professional, Carol Ofori from East Coast Radio.
