This month’s focus goes to‎ Grant Gavin, Property Entrepreneur and Speaker. What you may not know is Grant is also the Founder / Chairman of Durban Entrepreneurs Club.

He founded the Durban Entrepreneurs Club to provide a platform for entrepreneurs to network with one another and inspire one another to fulfil their true potential as business people.  He also created the club as a platform for himself as a speaker, and as a networking opportunity.

The club has grown beyond his expectations with 140 members after the first year.  We have attracted some high profile speakers in our first year, and have another amazing lineup for 2017 already.

The objective of the club is to inspire members and guests by introducing them to high profile business people who share how they got to the top.  The inspiration is in the journey, and not in hearing about the destination.  They also educate our members and guests through specific business topic talks on marketing, BEE, social media etc.  Finally, there is a networking element with speed networking, and time set aside for social interaction after the meetings, with the intention on building relationships for possible future business dealings.

Congratulations to Grant’s venture in KZN, and may Durban Entrepreneurs Club grow from strength to strength!

Grant Gavin also loves to blog and has shared this one with us speakers, as it deals with insecurities, which I would imagine speakers battle with amongst other things, truly believing that their message needs to be heard, and promoting and branding themselves to the market.
