Cindy Norcott

“This book is a must for professional speakers.

Cindy offers practical tips that will encourage all of us who have a desire for action but who need a tangible action plan. Her advice is simple yet effective, with many practical and cost-effective tips on how to improve our businesses.” – Kevin Penwarden
Cindy Norcott, owner and manager of a recruitment agency, Pro-Appointments for over 20 years and is also the chair-person and founder of the Robin Hood Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps the poorest of the poor, through a variety of charitable projects.
Cindy has been named winner of the Services Category at the annual South Africa’s Most Influential Women in Business and Government Awards in 2013. A business coach and mentor, Cindy has won more than 10 business excellence awards in the past 15 years, including the Business Women’s Association of South Africa Regional Achiever Award.

Mid-break

Guest speaker – Pat McKrill

On ‘Have you got a book in you?’

Pat is a skills trainer and public speaker, who uses his passion for the bush in helping others to understand and respect their environmental heritage.

Pat McKrill
Pat says, “I feel that we all have the ability – especially speakers – to inspire others, and there’s nothing stopping us from, maybe only every now and again, trying something new and innovative. As you’d expect, the talk will be different and, entertaining.

I’ll borrow from Dan Poynter’s famous saying, “Don’t die with a book in you” and my talk will be about the sometimes rocky but always rewarding (not necessarily always remuneratively rewarding) road to writing and publishing a book.”
“Pat McKrill – Don’t miss this talk! Previously a member of the PSASA, Pat was one of the most entertaining speakers in the entire organisation. He has a wonderful sense of humour to back expert knowledge of his topic.
Sad to be missing his talk in October, I am envious of the members and guests who will be treated by Pat to a talk of the highest standard. Buy one of his books!”
– Roger Knowles
