Guest speaker – Pat McKrill
On ‘Have you got a book in you?’
Pat is a skills trainer and public speaker, who uses his passion for the bush in helping others to understand and respect their environmental heritage.
Pat says, “I feel that we all have the ability – especially speakers – to inspire others, and there’s nothing stopping us from, maybe only every now and again, trying something new and innovative. As you’d expect, the talk will be different and, entertaining.
I’ll borrow from Dan Poynter’s famous saying, “Don’t die with a book in you” and my talk will be about the sometimes rocky but always rewarding (not necessarily always remuneratively rewarding) road to writing and publishing a book.”
“Pat McKrill – Don’t miss this talk! Previously a member of the PSASA, Pat was one of the most entertaining speakers in the entire organisation. He has a wonderful sense of humour to back expert knowledge of his topic.
Sad to be missing his talk in October, I am envious of the members and guests who will be treated by Pat to a talk of the highest standard. Buy one of his books!” – Roger Knowles
