The Power of Frustration

Frustration is like a powerful energy waiting to be used for positive change. It signals that something isn’t right, pushing us to grow personally and make significant changes in teams and society. Individually, it encourages us to question things and become more resilient. Together, it becomes a call for change, bringing people to challenge old ways and work. Throughout history, frustration has led to important social changes. During this talk, we’ll dive into how using frustration can support creating a positive change and, thereby, a better future for everyone.

With a hunger for transforming teams and organisations, I’ve dedicated fifteen impactful years to cultivating inclusive, collaborative environments and nurturing leadership development. Life’s journey, with its ebbs and flows, has moulded me into the individual I am today, where embracing bold decisions and taking control of destiny have been pivotal in my personal growth. As a TEDxAmsterdam licensee and board member, I passionately contribute to facilitating speakers who share impactful ideas that resonate globally. Stepping into organisations as a consultant, my focus is cultivating thriving cultures, developing personal leadership, and fostering unity among diverse teams. My speaking engagements centre around changing Company Culture, driving action for Diversity, Equity, and inclusion, and overcoming obstacles through transforming frustrations. Beyond the professional sphere, you’ll frequently find me cycling through the streets of Amsterdam with my daughter, exploring the world of writing, and staying physically active through CrossFit and kickboxing.
