Lois Strachan – Bio

Have you ever wondered how a blind person uses a computer or a mobile phone? How they navigate the world around them?
Lois Strachan is a writer, speaker, blogger and disability consultant who demonstrates how blind and visually impaired people engage with the world around them using their remaining senses and technology.

Lois’s message – that disability doesn’t mean inability – aims to increase inclusion of persons with disabilities into society and the workplace. She’s helped organisations make digital platforms more accessible and trained customer service staff on engaging with a visually impaired client.

Lois is the author of A Different Way of Seeing: A Blind Woman’s Journey of Living an ‘Ordinary’ Life in an Extraordinary Way
