We have a wonderful treat in store for you this month. Two Alexander Technique experts – Sharyn West and Lucia Walker – will present…
Speaking With Ease
The presentation will introduce the Alexander technique. Sharyn and Lucia will tell you of its beginnings with Frederick Matthias Alexander, an Australian professional speaker who had recurring voice troubles. Participants will hear the story of the discovery of the principles that inform this Technique. You will be shown postural alignment that allows you to co-operate with the structural design humans are heir to. You will be invited to use simple strategies that can offer freer vocal expression and an experiential approach that can lead to greater ease.
