Session three – Beyond Keynoting: Invaluable Event Speaking Tips
Presented By: Paul du Toit CSP Global
There’s a whole lot more to professional speaking than just keynoting. If you were called upon to chair a conference or facilitate a brainstorming session, would you know what to do or how to prepare? If your client was looking for a really good MC, would you measure up? Would you know what to do? How about an awards function? What about delivering a cracking intro, or an insightful “outro” at our next convention? How does one deliver the logistical bits to the audience in the right way at the right time? Finally, how on earth does a presenter deal with question time without being fried alive?
These and more essential speaking skills will be dissected by “The Exceptional Speaker” co-author, Paul du Toit, CSP Global at our 14 August meeting. There will also be a 15 minute Q&A session where he will answer your questions using techniques he will teach you.
