Mindfulness and Self-Care for Business Owners:
As ambitious business owners, we not only wear multiple hats (with multi-taking being our favourite skill!), we have incredible pressure to deliver. Pressure we place on ourselves, as well as pressure from those around us. There is a lingering feeling in most business owners of not being able to “switch-off”, and take a step back to look after themselves. There is also often a huge struggle to not remain constantly anxious about future events, or be concerned about the outcomes of past events. This absence of presence (mindfulness) and self-care, makes it incredibly hard to grow a business we will love and one that gives back more to us than it takes away.
In this talk Candice is going to introduce us to the concepts of mindfulness and self-care. She is going to walk us through how she has used these approaches practically, for herself and with her clients to ensure balance, and well-being while still achieving huge business goals. She will also open the floor for a Q & A session, so that you can better understand how these approaches may fit into your life and business specifically.
