Dear PSASA members and friends,
Please join us on Wednesday evening, 20 June, 18:30 when we will be joined by Ian Hatton, who will be talking about Digital vs Physical Contact. The second half of the evening will be presented by PSASA’s national president Carl Schultz, talking about the Business of Professional Speaking.
Ian will be talking to us about Digital vs Physical Contact: great business relationships in a virtual world.
Do you know what a virtual fika is? Hint: it has nothing to do with proof of residence. As teams, leadership, coaching, facilitation, and even keynotes are going virtual, how do we retain the human element? Is it even possible?
In this interactive virtual session Ian Hatton will explore the world of virtual relationships. What is and isn’t possible – yet! In which ways is virtual contact better than face to face? Where does it fall short? And of course, he will outline the most important ingredients for a wonderful virtual fika…
Ian Hatton spent the first two decades of his career in the IT industry. Sixteen years ago, his fascination with people and leadership led him to reinvent himself as a facilitator, speaker and writer. He helps clients get the most from their people in a changing world, delivering face to face and virtual sessions to a global audience. He values connection, liberty, and impact, and shares this passion through inspirational talks, training, coaching, and writing. Ian connects people and concepts, stimulates ideas and thinking, and challenges mindsets and perspectives.
Carl Schultz is the current National president of the PSASA.
For you to be a professional speaker you have to understand that this is a business and you need to build a rock solid business. Carl has been a lifelong entrepreneur and has started more than 20 businesses and owned three franchises.
He is going to be sharing what it takes to start and build a successful business. You will learn the three ingredients for success, the foundation for building a world-class business and how to identify and move beyond those anchors that might be holding you back.
“These are some of the things I wish I knew when I started my speaking career and I would love to shortcut your journey”
