Nomvula Rakolote: Leadership and Influence
Nomvula Rakolote is a career woman, mother, and a dynamic and resilient individual. She is an Adjunct Professor in the Built Environment, a Leadership Coach, a Professional Speaker and wisdom advocate. The great strides she has taken in her life is by no means a coincidence but is a consequence of great vision and planning. Her gift of motivating not only herself but her children and co-workers, speaks volumes of this dynamo of energy and enthusiasm. Her outlook on life is realistic and she continues to strive to become the version of herself. Whilst being a charismatic person by nature, she has no qualms about being serious and assuming full responsibility for her actions. She is a living example of someone who is able to continually reinvent herself and to apply corrective measures continually.
She will talk on Leadership and Influence. She says Leadership is inspiring others to do what needs to be done. Genuine leaders take a stand and motivate others to join them in a noble purpose. Influence is subtle, yet incredibly powerful. You can influence people to do their best by providing a strong, motivating example in addition to positive reinforcement. Influence is the soul of leadership.
Marriet Visser: Task and Time Management
In a world where personal identity and contribution has been lost in the chaos of corporate agendas, meetings and projects. Marriet Visser has taken up the challenge to care, to offer a personal roadmap based on your own identity and attributes to find clarity in your reality and bring order to the chaos. Marriet is a transformation and solutions architect and a productivity coach. Marriet is the author of books, music, coaching tools, workshops and programmes to help people learn while people are having fun. She believes in the power of “Entrainment”, where we learn from one another as the lessons unfold and through God’s Spirit Who transforms us inside out by renewing our minds.
Marriet’s talk addresses the question: are emotions, clutter and chaos filling your days; leaving no time to do what is important. Let’s give you the tools to plan your 168 hours a week efficiently. In order to live a significant life, you need to do significant things that will shape the world, your heritage and history. We have less than 40 hours a week to do it. What could you stop doing and what can you start doing to live a significant life?
Sophia Roman: The Power of Personal Boundaries
Pioneer, Visionary and Life Transformation Coach. Sophia Roman has been influencing people from all walks of life. She influences women to be unapologetic and unconventional, urging them to make a difference wherever they find themselves. Sophia has been coaching and mentoring for 20 years, speaks and coaches with passion from her heart, and writes from that very special and sacred place. She is married to Theo Roman and together they Pastor a vibrant church in Mitchells Plain, Cape Town. They enjoy the grace of a blended family. The aim of her talk is to share a Self-Awareness Tool and modalities that will help you work through challenging thoughts and emotions during COVID-19 and beyond.
Congruence or alignment in oneself brings about that “sweet spot” or “peace”. Often the lack of this “peace” is due to boundaries that have been overstepped and values which have been compromised. In this session, we will learn how to set/reset Boundaries.
1. When to say YES and how to say NO
2. Take control of your life.
