Greetings Colleagues,
It’s Women’s Month, so I’d like to begin by wishing all of the phenomenal women who are part of our community of speaking professionals a superb month.
Be good to yourselves, you are a force that is well-deserving of respect, peace and love.
I’d like to invite you to treat yourself to our fantastic August virtual Meeting of the KZN Chapter.
This is a meeting not to be missed, as it addresses a topic that so many speakers are quite anxious about, Humour.
One of the first few times I delivered a keynote for a well-respected client, I told a joke and there were crickets. By crickets (as I’m sure you know), I mean that I got almost no laughter from the packed room. I was taken by surprise because I thought it was a pretty great line…
I later learnt that humour on stage can be considered both an art and a science. There are techniques and tools that you and I can apply before and during an engagement that help us get the laughs that we ’need’.
UK-based ‘Keynote Tickler’, Jeremy Nicholas will be our guest speaker this August and if anyone knows how to help you and I get serious laughs during business presentations – it’s Jeremy!
See you there 🙂
