Introduction to the ART and SCIENCE of SELLING Anything

We as speakers have amazing skills and stories to tell but, we need to sell OURSELVES to clients before we can WOW them. We have to get the client to trust us enough to ‘buy us’ as people and then in turn book us as speakers or trainers. We also have to sell ourselves to our audience.
The art of selling is being totally in CONTROL of the process and the science is the ability to BUILD RELATIONSHIPS so we don’t have to sell, but that PEOPLE BUY from us.
Jeff will be sharing during his session the skills to;
–          Take 80% of the stress of selling away
–          Understand the sales cycle
–          Be in control of the process and understand it
–          Stop wasting time
–          Avoid most of the frustration in the sales process
–          The ultimate Closing technique
He will also share with you how to read other people’s behaviour, show how they want to be dealt with – this can be used to build trust between yourself and your client.  Jeff will also teach you to change your behaviour consciously and become highly effective, in turn enabling you to make more money.
After the presentation there will be a one hour Q & A session with Jeff.
About Jeff Khan
He was born in Cape Town and after matriculating joined the SANavy for his military service leaving after 4 years. He trained as a manager for Woolworths and ended up running the textile division at the Sea Point branch.
He then spent 3 years selling and running a team of direct selling door to door salesman. After that he joined Mer National in Jhb as a medical rep and then did two years as a dental rep in Cape Town.
In 1989 he joined liberty Life as a consultant and has been a financial advisor, manager and franchise holder and currently a broker.
Jeff has also won numerous sales, sales management awards and was Liberty Life man of the year twice.
Jeff started running motivational and training seminars in 1999 and has trained and spoken on platforms nationally and internationally. He specialises in sales, sales management training, conference speaking and behavioural psychology.
