Introductions of members and guests

Instead of your usual ‘1 Minute Elevator Speech’, could you share an innovative tip?
Guest Speaker – Colleen Wilson

‘The effects of relationships on stress, communication and collaboration in the workplace?’

“My power talk of the moment is about what happens within us in the context of relationships and how they shape us, we shape them and how this cycle presents opportunities and challenges.

There is powerful information here, based on the science of relationship – Interpersonal Neurobiology, Neuroscience, EQ, Attachment Theory and more.”

Colleen now works as a trainer and mentor with parents, educators and business people to grow awareness, mindfulness, EQ, and self-awareness and to understand stress, relationship and the developing mind.

Guest Speaker – Richard Mulvey
Speaker Marketing 101 ‘Build it and they will come?’
“We all start in this industry believing that if you have a strong enough message and are able to deliver it in an entertaining way; you will be a successful speaker. Alas this is far from the truth!”

Richard has been in the speaking industry for over twenty years during which time he has developed a multi-million rand business from Speaking, Training and product sales. In recognition of his contribution to the industry he was awarded the Speaker Hall of Fame award at the PSASA convention last month.
In this presentation Richard will cover the basics of ‘Marketing your Speaking Business’. He will show you how it is possible to make a living from a talent to speak in public.
