Kevin has secured Dale Tomlinson from The Hardy Boys to speak to us about the latest trends in marketing, which could affect us as professional speakers.

Dale Tomlinson is currently founder and CEO of The Hardy Boys a 90 strong multi-disciplinary agency based in Durban South Africa. In the agency’s 20th year they have firmly cemented their reputation as one of South Africa’s 3- and indeed one of Africa’s – leading advertising agencies by landing 5 prestigious Loerie Awards & 1 Craft Award for various campaigns, a Bronze Medal at the 55th annual Clio Awards in New York and two silver awards at the ADVAN Awards in Nigeria.

Highlights are being awarded two Diageo Marketing Brilliance Awards & Global Best Innovation Agency Award for the launch of Diageo Snapp brand into Kenya and Nigeria; Campaign of the month and silver awards for the Robertson’s “#SkyDine” campaign and a highlight for Dale was being the only African to speak at Cannes to an audience of 3000 at the Cannes Lions Awards in 2013.

More recently Dale and his agency have joined WPP Global, the largest communication group in the world. In his current role he will expand the THB brand further into Africa and currently holds the WPP Group-Unilever relationship for Southern Africa, reporting into London.
