The Convention. What did we learn? What action will we take?
Most of us attended the Breakout Convention in April and now is the time to make sure you are applying what you have learnt. Nothing happens until you take action so what action have you taken to make a difference to your business?

About JackieAs a speaker, trainer, freelance copywriter and author, Jackie Barrie specialises in writing without waffle.
Here are some career highlights so far:
• Blogs and articles all over the web, including the Huffington Post, Fresh Business Thinking and Marketing Lens. She has studied creative writing with Sue Townsend on a Greek island, and is an Ezine Articles Diamond author
• Professional Member of the Professional Speaking Association UK & Ireland (where she is co-President of the new South East region), and achieved Advanced Communicator (Bronze) with Toastmasters
• Co-founded Bromley Creative Community and Croydon Ecademy, and ran eight BRX groups across southeast England (not all at the same time)
Jackie’s Open University BA Honours degree included the psychology of how people process words and symbols. She also qualified as an NLP Practitioner (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) through INLPTA, for a deeper understanding of the power of language in written and spoken communications. She originally trained as a journalist.
In 2001, Jackie started freelance copywriting under the Comms Plus brand after 20 years as a copywriter and senior manager in the corporate world.
She has also worked as a barmaid and a tea-lady. She hates tomatoes, alarm clocks and shoes, and likes dancing, scuba diving and making people laugh.

About George
The barriers hemming us in to a single state, province, or country are mostly mental. Your audience is the world. Planes go everywhere, and you love to travel (don’t you?) In this (SCHEDULE INFO-LENGTH) session, a truly global citizen will reveal the mindset shift that’s allowed him to create adventures (and business) in well over 100 countries. He takes the global theme to extremes by moving to a different country annually and living there for a full year. He’s coming to PSASA from Penang, Malaysia, where he and his wife live this year. Last year, their home was Monaco. And guess where they’re moving next: Cape Town!
