Technology is an inseparable part of the daily life of a speaker, presenter, coach, trainer or consultant. The higher your dependence on the tech, the higher the risk to your business when something goes pear-shaped. And I’m not referring to your figure here! This month, the Techwatch section recommends a solution to a long-standing problem for bandwidth-capped South Africans – and that is: simple, cost-effective and secure data back-up for your computer.

On the topic of tech, this newsletter was going to be awash with pictures from the highly successful 3rd Annual Convention at Sibaya – but the CD from the superb professional photographers has a glitch on it and defies opening by me or my IT man. But Vernon Cresswell, Jürgen Tietz and my trusty little Sony Cybershot camera will hopefully save the day for this newsletter. The full batch of pics will be uploaded to the NSASA website, soon.
