Look at it this way...if you ran a farm, and relied on equipment to progress your business....when times were hard, you would put off buying new equipment, but instead keep your existing equipment well-serviced so that it wouldn't let you down!
So, I encourage companies to give their staff the 50,000 km service they deserve, as it will be paid back in improved performance and sustainability!
