For an exceptional experience join us for the 2019 PSASA Annual Convention when Rob Caskie, Storyteller extraordinaire, keynote speaker, cultural guide and author will have you enthralled with a “Friday evening Fireside Chat” on the pre-conference evening.
Storytelling may seem like an old-fashioned tool today – and it is. That’s exactly what makes it so powerful. Who would ever have imagined that sharing experiences about solo African motorcycle journeys at university would lead to a career in storytelling?
Rob began sharing stories professionally in 2000, honing a unique talent for storytelling on the Anglo Zulu War battlefields. Bringing the drama of battlefields to life led to international speaking engagements. His subject matter has expanded considerably, always essentially human stories. There is a powerful thread of human interconnectedness (Ubuntu) directed at the better angels in our natures, which resonates so powerfully with audiences today.
With stick and trademark shorts, Rob prides himself in positive, unique storytelling that does not rely on electronic or visual aids ‘when the lights trip, Rob does not’.
For an up-close and personal first hand experience of Rob’s talent and entertainment, be sure to book your space around the fireside.
Our Banquet Evening at the PSASA 2019 Annual Convention will literally be a mind blowing experience! PSASA are thrilled to announce that the world renowned Gilan Gork, Mentalist, Bestselling Author, Speaker and Founder of the Influence Institute will be part of the evening’s events.

The sharing of her story publicly on The Forgiveness Project’s website in September 2014, opened many doors for Madeleine in ways she never imagined, and the invitations started to pour in.
Many women and men got in contact and explained how reading her story gave them strength, hope, and a different perspective of what’s possible in their lives.
The founder of The Forgiveness Project, Marina often refers to the various people on her website as “story healers” rather than “storytellers” and now she completely understood why.
She has taken part in both TV and radio interviews and has been invited to share her story of being gang raped as a teenager at conferences, book events, schools etc.
She recognises that she was a victim of a crime that left her silent for many years but has now found her voice and intends to use it. Not just for her, but for so many who can’t find theirs yet.
